PortaSauna began in Portsmouth with two friends, Jordan and Harry, and a mission to make saunas accessible to everyone.
What started as an early prototype in a back garden has grown into a community of thousands, all united by the same love of heat, cold and the outdoors.

Where can I use PortaSauna?
PortaSauna is designed for outdoor use only. It should be placed on a flat surface and at least 120 cm (4 ft) away from buildings, fences, trees, and other structures. If using in a campsite or public area, check with the site operator for permission.
Can it be used in winter?
Absolutely! The triple-layer insulated fabric of the PortaSauna HEX retains heat even in freezing temperatures. It can reach 80-100°C, even when it’s as cold as -12°C outside.
Does PortaSauna release any chemicals?
NO! The PortaSauna HEX is built with safety and air quality in mind.

PortaSauna HEX has undergone professional air monitoring tests for:
🔹 CO₂ (Carbon Dioxide) – Ensuring proper ventilation.
🔹 PM2.5 & PM10 (Fine Particulate Matter) – Checking for airborne particles.
🔹 Formaldehyde (HCHO) – Confirming no off-gassing from materials.
🔹 AQI (Air Quality Index) Particles – Measuring overall air purity.
Why is this important? These tests guarantee that the air inside the sauna remains safe to breathe at high temperatures, making PortaSauna HEX a chemical-free, safe, and health-conscious sauna option for regular use.
What is the tent made of?
- The tent is made from heat-resistant Oxford 600D fabric, rated up to 150°C, ensuring durability without releasing harmful chemicals.
- The windows are high-performance TPU, designed to withstand high temperatures.
- The interior is lined with CPAI-84 flame-retardant material, adding an extra layer of fire safety.
Can children use PortaSauna?
Yes, but only under supervision. Children are more sensitive to heat, so monitor their time inside and ensure they stay hydrated.
How long is my delivery?
- Fast Dispatch: We aim to dispatch all orders the same day or next day from our Portsmouth warehouse.
- Split Shipments: The PortaSauna HEX ships in two consignments (tent & bench), which may arrive on separate days due to their oversized nature.
- Need it by a specific date? Let us know, and we’ll coordinate with the warehouse to meet your deadline.
