Wild Wellness in Cumbria

Sauna, Cold Water, Breathwork & Nature Experiences in Cumbria and The Lake District

Wild Wellness

Wild Wellness offers thoughtful, small-group experiences designed to help people slow down, reset and reconnect with themselves and the natural world.
Set in Cumbria and The Lake District, the sessions combine the warmth of a PortaSauna KABINXL with cold water, breathwork, meditation and time in nature. The result is a calm, grounded experience that supports rest, recovery and reconnection.
Founded by Natasha Shuttleworth, a wellbeing coach with a background in mental health, open water swimming and research, Wild Wellness is shaped by both academic insight and lived experience.
The idea was created following Natasha’s own experience of burnout. From that place came a clear purpose: to create spaces where people can step away from pressure, reconnect with their body, spend time outdoors and experience the quiet power of heat, cold, breath and nature.
Whether you are new to cold water, curious about sauna, looking for a wellbeing reset or wanting to join a supportive outdoor community, Wild Wellness offers a gentle, welcoming way in.

Loose, warm clothing is ideal after sauna and cold water. A changing robe is also useful, especially in colder weather.

Bring Water

Hydration is important before and after sauna and cold water. Bring a bottle of water with you.

Bring Footwear

Flip-flops, sliders or water shoes are helpful when moving between the sauna, water and changing area.
